The China (Xiamen) International Cross-Border E-commerce Expo (hereinafter referred to as "ICEIE") has adhered to a market-oriented approach since its inception, staying close to the market and serving enterprises. Having been successfully held for five consecutive sessions, the exhibition has seen its scale expand year by year and its influence grow steadily. It has now become one of the industry's most high-standard, professional, and ecologically comprehensive events in the field of cross-border e-commerce in China.
As a renowned large-scale professional cross-border e-commerce exhibition in China, ICEIE leverages its resource advantages by bringing together resources from the national trade promotion and commercial systems, integrating a wide range of authoritative overseas and domestic e-commerce platforms and full-spectrum service providers, and gathering high-quality, cross-border-dedicated suppliers across all categories. It not only helps Chinese suppliers explore overseas markets through cross-border e-commerce channels but also facilitates the introduction of suitable international brands into the Chinese market. By providing a comprehensive and efficient business matching platform for suppliers and brand owners, ICEIE contributes to serving the nation's strategy of building a new development pattern with domestic and international dual circulation.
In 2021, amid the pandemic-induced standstill of overseas exhibitions and the difficulties faced by enterprises in expanding into international markets, the Chamber of International Commerce Xiamen conducted in-depth research into corporate needs and took the initiative to launch its self-organized exhibition—the Xiamen International Cross-Border E-commerce Expo. Leveraging years of accumulated resources in the cross-border e-commerce sector, the inaugural edition was recognized as a key exhibition in Xiamen and became an industry "hit." In 2022, with the approval of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, ICEIE was elevated to a national-level exhibition, becoming one of the few cross-border e-commerce professional exhibitions in China authorized to use the "China" designation. The 2023 edition further highlighted its international, professional, and authoritative nature, featuring special exhibition areas such as the "Kazakhstan Pavilion," "Japan Trade Pavilion," and "BRICS Countries Featured Products Display Zone." Statistics showed that the ratio of buyers to exhibition booths exceeded 20:1, meeting the internationally recognized standard for high-quality professional exhibitions.
The 2024 ICEIE emphasized four major innovations: "Cross-Border E-commerce + Industrial Clusters," "Cross-Border E-commerce + Live Streaming," "Cross-Border E-commerce + Geographical Indication Products," and "Cross-Border E-commerce + Regional Economic Development." It facilitated the establishment of Google's first global cross-border e-commerce acceleration center in Xiamen, the launch of Amazon Global Selling's Industrial Cluster Accelerator project, and the kickoff of Alibaba International Station's "Super Supplier" E-Commerce Talent Competition. The concurrent "First International Geographical Indication Products (Xiamen) Trade Fair" explored a new path of empowering industrial development and enterprise transformation through "Cross-Border E-commerce + Geographical Indication."
The 5th ICEIE in 2025 continued under the theme "Cross-Border Connectivity, Goods to the World," featuring three major themed exhibition areas: Amazon SPN, TikTok Ecosystem, and "Alibaba Cross-Border All-in-One." It pioneered a POD-themed zone accompanied by an industry conference, fully showcasing Fujian's advantages as a global hub for the POD industry. The exhibition achieved remarkable results, with attendance reaching 46,235 visitors over three days, precisely empowering the cultivation of new foreign trade formats and supporting the transformation and upgrading of traditional enterprises.
