Introduction to Xiamen International Chamber of Commerce
1988In 2003, the Xiamen Chamber of International Commerce (COICXiamen) was registered and established with the approval of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Xiamen Municipal Committee.
The Xiamen International Chamber of Commerce is the only non-governmental organization in Xiamen with an ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) background in foreign-related economic and trade. As a "window" and "bridge" connecting Xiamen with the economic and trade communities at home and abroad, the Chamber has always focused on serving the overall interests of the center, keeping pace with the times and pioneering innovation. It plays the role of connecting government and enterprises, connecting domestic and foreign markets, and matching supply and demand, and serving as a "non-governmental economic and trade ambassador." It builds platforms, organizes events, and pools resources, striving to expand its international "circle of friends" and weave a dense network of service enterprises. It takes the initiative and plays an active role in assisting enterprises to explore international markets, promote two-way trade and investment, and advance the "Belt and Road" and "BRICS+" cooperation. At present, the Chamber has established ties with nearly 300 economic and trade groups and numerous well-known multinational corporations and important enterprises in more than 70 countries (regions) on five continents. It has established 54 overseas contact points in 44 countries (regions), and has established friendly chambers of commerce with 112 overseas chambers of commerce, providing services to more than 12,000 enterprises.

Organization
Internal institutions
The Secretariat is the daily office of the Council. Its responsibilities include formulating the annual work plan, organizing its implementation after approval by the Council, and undertaking other tasks assigned by the Council. Under the leadership of the Council, the Secretary-General is responsible for handling the specific affairs of Xiamen International Chamber of Commerce. The Secretariat consists of four departments: General Operations Department, Membership Department, Exhibition Department, and Commercial Certification Center.23people.
Comprehensive Operations Department
Responsible for the daily operation and management of the Chamber of Commerce, media publicity, information construction, organization and implementation of various meetings and activities, development of various projects, event investment planning, business cooperation and undertaking service projects transferred by the government.

Membership Department
Responsible for member development and dues collection, organizing and implementing mechanism meetings such as the board of directors and liaison meetings, responsible for liaison with international chambers of commerce and counterpart institutions at home and abroad, and providing differentiated and customized services to members.

Exhibition Department
Responsible for the planning and organization of domestic and overseas exhibitions; provide exhibition consulting services for enterprises to explore overseas markets, help enterprises find high-quality exhibition projects, organize enterprises to participate in exhibitions, and provide full-process services for enterprises to participate in exhibitions.

Commercial Certification Center
We issue commercial certifications such as certificates of origin, ATA carnets, commercial certificates, export product brand certificates, credit certifications, and free sale certificates, and provide various legal services such as corporate compliance, commercial mediation, arbitration, and intellectual property protection.
