Fifth Xiamen Cross-Border E-commerce Expo Opens, POD Customization Zone Becomes International Focus
June 26, 2025, Xiamen – The Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center buzzed with activity today as merchants gathered from far and wide for the grand opening of the fifth China (Xiamen) International Cross-Border E-commerce Expo (ICEIE). This powerhouse event, integrating the entire industrial chain, spans over 50,000 square meters. It brings together more than 30 specialized industrial belts from across China, over 30 mainstream cross-border platforms, hundreds of professional service providers, and thousands of original manufacturers, establishing itself as a core hub connecting global markets.
On the first day, the venue was packed with a vibrant atmosphere, attracting global buyers who came specifically to visit, negotiate, and network. Exhibitors and manufacturers showcased tens of thousands of star products, drawing sellers and procurement agents from various categories worldwide for discussions. Company staff patiently explained products to clients, several deals were signed on-site, and many enterprises inquired with the organizing committee about participation in the next edition.
This year's expo is brimming with highlights, notably the innovatively launched POD (Print-On-Demand) Themed Zone, which has become one of the most popular sections. It features dozens of leading POD enterprises, including Fingerprint Technology, Global Customization Network, Shenzhen Hanson, Guangdong Baocai, Wanjiahe, Yizhiguan, Rouwei Technology, Haitiancheng Supply Chain, Yuchuanggu Graphic Technology, Lingtu Technology, Dajuxing Import & Export, Linkwuu Technology, and Shark Technology.
Recent market data reveals the global POD market size surpassed USD 10.21 billion in 2024, with a compound annual growth rate of 26.9%. On Amazon US alone, search volume peaks for customized apparel keywords reached 250,000 in June this year, while searches for niche categories like home decor and pet supplies grew 27.5% year-on-year.
Against this backdrop of rapid global POD industry expansion, Fujian Province on China's southeastern coast has emerged as a core production base. Industry statistics indicate that over 80% of the world's high-quality POD manufacturing capacity is currently concentrated in the Fujian region. Complementing the exhibition, ICEIE is hosting multiple POD industry conferences, adopting an "exhibition + forum" model to comprehensively showcase new opportunities within the POD sector.
