Google's First Global Cross-Border E-commerce Acceleration Center Launches in Xiamen!
On the morning of October 15, the first Google Cross-Border E-commerce Acceleration Center was officially launched at the Sea World complex within the Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone! Representatives from the ICEIE Organizing Committee, the Administrative Committee of the Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone, the People's Government of Huli District, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Google, and Houge Cross-Border jointly participated in the launch ceremony.
The Google Cross-Border E-commerce Acceleration Center is a key project collaboratively advanced and developed by multiple parties. Initially announced at the opening of the 2024 China (Xiamen) International Cross-Border E-commerce Expo on June 26, the Google Cross-Border E-commerce Acceleration Plan was unveiled, and the first Acceleration Center was simultaneously confirmed for location within the Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone. The establishment of this center in Xiamen aims to create a one-stop incubation and growth base for cross-border e-commerce independent stores, positioning it as the primary industrial base for Chinese cross-border e-commerce independent stores expanding globally.
The launch of the Google Acceleration Center in Xiamen represents another significant achievement following efforts by the ICEIE Organizing Committee, which previously facilitated the establishment of the Alibaba AliExpress Xiamen Cross-Border E-commerce Park and the launch of the Amazon Global Selling Industrial Cluster Accelerator project during ICEIE. In the next phase, the ICEIE Organizing Committee will continue to focus on the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry, striving to build effective service platforms for enterprises and foster a robust cross-border e-commerce ecosystem.
